I photograph people the way I'd want to be remembered — slowly, honestly, and on film when the light asks for it. Weddings, portraits, and editorial commissions, all in the same hand.
Jowdy Photography began as a two-person studio above a bookshop in Hudson, NY. A decade in, we still travel light: two cameras, three primes, and a deep belief that the best frames happen when no one is performing.
Our work has appeared in Vogue, Magnolia Rouge, Cereal, and the British Journal of Photography. We take on a small number of commissions a year — weddings, portraits, brand stories — so each gets the attention it deserves.
